I Suddenly Remembered My Charlemagne

I think the reason I love this show so much is that it is PERFECT. And I don't meant perfect writing or perfect acting (although it's pretty close to perfect music). I mean it's a perfect story. It's like they've got the Checklist of Archetype, and they are just going through it.

A lot of this show depends on the bad guys having no peripheral vision. I can get behind that (pun completely intended)!

The actor who plays Zed was clearly born to play Aliens on Star Trek. Except he was born in Australia, so he made the rounds through Star Wars and Farscape instead. And LotR, of course, but that goes without saying.
