And so "The Legend of the Seeker" continues on its path through All The Things A Story Must and we learn about how much magic sucks. Perhaps I am simple minded, but when we were little and fairy tales didn't have any consequences, we were happier, right? I mean, I like it but...SHEESH, people. MAGIC IS NOT A DRUG.
Ahem,
Zeddicus gets all the best lines. I was pretty much in stitches every time he was on screen. And he's SO TALL. But...strangely well costumed.
I also really like this look into Kahlan, and the consequences of her actions. I suppose it's fortunate that most of the people she Confesses are killed right away. And it explains a lot about her mother and father. What I don't know (and what I am not supposed to know yet, I think) is what effect her power would have on someone who already loves her.
GOD, Richard is a moron.
Also kids? Drugs are bad, m'kay?
