In related news, I have now messaged that magical podfic site a couple of times (since March) and never heard back. I know they host Sanctuary, because there's a fic up there already, but does anyone know how to get in touch? I'd love to have a permanent home for my podfic.

Because it's not Saturday if I don't spend at least an hour with Jack the Ripper. *shakes head*

Notes: I really like this one. ;) I didn't mean to write a John-centric instalment when I was writing backstory for everyone else, but then Mary Kelly stepped in (again...she's why it's a series instead of single story in the first place), and there it was. Plus it's always fun to read John.

Notes: My longest podfic so far, this was challenging for a couple reasons. One, it's a FREAKING FANTASTIC STORY, and a lot of that is because of the formatting, which doesn't always translate to voice. Two, I had real trouble making it through the 1969 and 1986 sections without crying. At least I didn't have any problems separating Sam from Helen. ;)

Notes: The hardest part of this one was the dialogue (all eight words of it!). This was the first Sanctuary fanfic I read, and it's still one of my favourites. It's Helen and John (well, mostly Helen), and she is awesome.

Notes: This was the longest four and three quarter minutes of my whole life. Apparently I cannot say the word "trousers" without giggling. That said, I adore this story. It's just so...beautiful. They are so well matched, and they very well couldn't be, and the fact that they are is just amazing.
