What follows is my best attempt to stitch together my IMMEDIATE REACTIONS and my More Sober Reflections, as we start, once again, down the path beside the Avatar.

( This time, the legend begins with Water. )

FORTY-TWO: THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZING. I wasn't sure how this show was going to work, or what it was going to be about, or even what the world was going to look like, and everything seems to indicate that it was SO WORTH THE WAIT. I am very excited about finding out what happens, and learning more about these people and how the world works now. And there are GROWN-UPS! And Korra is SEVENTEEN! It is going to be amazing. I AM SO UNPREPARED.

(I swear it's 42 by accident.)

I'm going to have to keep the window with the link in it open for a month!

I made a cake. It was kind of awesome. And then we ate it. ;)



It was the best view from the butt end.



But once Laura saved the front end (the eyes would NOT work, no matter what I did, and just as I was losing patience, she stepped in), it was okay.

WHY NOT?!?!?

I had a post about how I totally did not stop at the Stanton Store on my way to Waterloo today so that I could smell fudge because I realized during the fifth episode of Warehouse 13 that I don't know what fudge smells like, but then I read something on the internet that has pretty much obliterated my chances for coherent thought until at least tomorrow.

THEY ARE MAKING AN AVATAR:

And it's going to be made BY THE SAME GUYS, which means it should be EQUALLY AWESOME and as if that weren't enough, THIS TIME THE AVATAR'S A GIRL!
