I Suddenly Remembered My Charlemagne

eldanna is coming home for a visit soon, and since I miss her, we are making ALL THE PLANS.

Yesterday I added "have a Titanic themed party". Mostly as an excuse to buy these. Not only can you use them for G&Ts, they are food safe, so you can use them as chocolate molds. You know what that means: ice cream sundaes!

(There will be no movie watching, btw. I've never seen "Titanic", and I plan to die that way, Victor Garber or no!)

Actually, we could watch LotR, since they are "titanic". And write stories about Helen Magnus. And tip raspberry vodka into the cheese dip...;)

1. I'm of the opinion that John never actually tried to kill Helen until "Haunted". I also think that was the first time he ever hit her.

HOLY GOD, I WANT TO DO THIS WITH EASTER CANDY: Cooking with Candy and Cadbury Eggs Benedict and Sushi a la Peep

Oh, f-list! I always forget how AMAZING taco salad is until I am eating it. It is the BEST THING EVER.

Here is the recipe:

500 grams of ground [meat]
1 packet of taco seasoning
---cook the way it says to on the packet

1 head of lettuce
1 tomato
1 pepper
Cheese to taste
---cut/grate everything into large salad bowl. Add meat.

1 package of corn chips (smashed)
1 bottle of Catalina salad dressing
---add to bowl

Mix. Eat. Enjoy.

All in all, I am not as pumped about this one as I was for the last one. Perhaps because this one is for someone else and I am afraid he'll be all "Er...thanks." and then it will be awkward. Also, I don't get to eat it. But still, it will taste good, because it's all good stuff, and it was fun to make. I definitely know where I'll make improvements next time!

I shouldn't have used this icon. Now I want Martha/Jack fanfiction about how she saved the world and he sort of worships her for it, but they both sort of love the Doctor so it's a bit messy. It would have to take place before season two of Torchwood, obviously, but I am okay with that.
