I Suddenly Remembered My Charlemagne

I don't have all the pictures from launch #1 yet, because I assume The Sister will put them all up together after tomorrow, but here are some teasers! Family & Co. did an amazing job, and we had a great night.

Right now, Emma and I are tucked in with pizza while the wind howls outside. One more event tomorrow!

Today for a (very early) Question Monday, I talk about my writing group and my relationship with short stories.

We tried to come up with an "I'll be in my bunk" joke worthy of these cupcakes, but the only punchline we could think of was "on account of the sugar coma", so I think I'll let it go.

No short story this week! I had way too much going on. Instead I wrote the second part of "A Short History of Writing (According to Kate)", in which I make a TERRIBLE pun and gush a lot about a few of the people I've run into since I started writing on the internet.
