Date: 2013-02-01 08:29 am (UTC)There are some skeevy bits of the book. (fantasy authors, who are creative and wonderful enough to have things like dragons, who seem to think they must carry over misogyny for 'realism' drive me crazy).
There are beautiful parts with amazing women who do fantastic things and die horribly, just like the men. There are characters you hate, love to hate, end up loving and those you're still mourning three books later.
