Date: 2013-02-01 03:14 am (UTC)There are a lot of female characters who drive the plot. There are also a lot of female characters who die horribly. But just as many male characters die horribly - the series is pretty even-handed with dispensing horrible death. However, it is One Of Those Things You Should Know before starting, in case you're one of those people who does not like TV shows with a lot of character death.
