Planning Ahead

eldanna is coming home for a visit soon, and since I miss her, we are making ALL THE PLANS.

Yesterday I added "have a Titanic themed party". Mostly as an excuse to buy these. Not only can you use them for G&Ts, they are food safe, so you can use them as chocolate molds. You know what that means: ice cream sundaes!

(There will be no movie watching, btw. I've never seen "Titanic", and I plan to die that way, Victor Garber or no!)

Actually, we could watch LotR, since they are "titanic". And write stories about Helen Magnus. And tip raspberry vodka into the cheese dip...;)

Book #6: Cinder, by Marissa Meyer

I think I'm pretty much tapped out on Cinderella. Which is handy, because I think I've read most of them now? Or at least I'm close to having read them? I have no idea.

ANYWAY: While Cinder kind of gets the shaft for being last in an eight day, six book marathon (and it was the third Cinderella I read THIS WEEK just to make things worse), I will say that I very much enjoyed it, and that I am kind of pumped to discover that it's a series.

I'm going with 8.5/10 for being something I never would have thought of in a million years, for being very well written, for giving Canada a nod (and one line!), and THE SHOE!

New plan: Nap for a week and then it's on to "Across the Universe" and "Stolen Away"
