I Suddenly Remembered My Charlemagne

I AM NO LONGER AN EMPLOYEE OF THE TOY CABAL!!!!!

It is tradition, in my family, to have a party when one quits a job one does not like having.

In lieu of having a party, I purchased a case of pomtinis, a blueberry pie and plan to watch a lot of Avatar.

Once I finish listening to everything the Vitamin String Quartet has ever done, of course. They did QUEEN, f-list! I may never recover.

Ontario recently amended the Workplace Health and Safe Act by adding Bill 168. Under the new Bill, which deals with workplace violence and broadens the scope of what qualifies as "harassment", workers have the right to refuse to serve any customer who they feel is harassing them or making their workplace unsafe. It also defines the steps employers have to take in order to make sure their employees are safe from both physical AND verbal abuse.

What I am wondering, f-list, is if there is a Bill of similar nature in Michigan. I've spent a fair portion of the morning on various websites, but they're quite convoluted and so I thought I'd just ask.

Oh, F-list! You do not want to hear about the day I had.

I ended up with input from havocthecat, gabolange and abyssinia4077 for this. As relative newcomers to my f-list, I wasn't entire sure what to expect! The more astute of you will notice that ALL THREE requested Cake and this has not been explained. The reason for this is simple: the pictures of my latest endeavour are still on the camera, and I haven't got to them yet. It will be up in the next couple of days, along with a post about the random things that brought me to cake making. :)
