BEST. THING. EVER.
Apr. 29th, 2009 09:02 pmI don't mean to overstate my case, but this vid is probably the most amazingly brilliant thing I've ever seen. It combines my love of music, my love of (classic) John Williams, my love of a capella singing, my love of Star Wars, my love of geekery, and my love of BRILLIANCE (and the part with Whiney Luke isn't even the best part of the song!)!
Seriously, y'all. I'm pretty sure it's why the internet was invented.
(I think the best part is Superman because the lyrics and the music are both great...what do you think?)
(ETA: The other great part is the bit at the end where the one in the black orders popcorn with extra butter.)

Date: 2009-05-15 11:15 pm (UTC)I have this theory. I think movie and television scores are the equivalent of classical music for our age, and John Williams is one of the best. I certainly own enough of his CDs.
Thanks for posting. You made my day. :~)

I managed to find the captions, to read the lyrics, but I can't find the original url, or the user name of the guy. He said there would be more - could you please point me into the right direction?
Many thanks!
And if you want to see creativetiness and fun with Stargate action figures, please come to my LJ! You'll find a lot of pictures there.
