I don't mean to overstate my case, but this vid is probably the most amazingly brilliant thing I've ever seen. It combines my love of music, my love of (classic) John Williams, my love of a capella singing, my love of Star Wars, my love of geekery, and my love of BRILLIANCE (and the part with Whiney Luke isn't even the best part of the song!)!

(I think the best part is Superman because the lyrics and the music are both great...what do you think?)

(ETA: The other great part is the bit at the end where the one in the black orders popcorn with extra butter.)

I'm so glad I saw your post. You're right; it's brilliant.

I have this theory. I think movie and television scores are the equivalent of classical music for our age, and John Williams is one of the best. I certainly own enough of his CDs.

Found you via the birthday wishes by colej55 (happy belated birthday btw) and wanted to thank you for posting this video. While I am not such a bit Star Wars fan like you, I am also an a capella fan (the Wise Guys are Germany's most famous band) and I truly adore all the effort that goes into making something like this. And I wonder how exactly it is actually possible.
