Legend of the Seeker: Mirror
Apr. 27th, 2009 02:53 pmRight up until the 30 minute mark or so, I was torn between summarily declaring this the Best. Episode. Ever. or the Stupidest. Episode. Ever. And then it got really awesome. I laughed SO HARD. The actors were CLEARLY having a ball. I love it when The Old Ones (ie. literary devices) are used to well.
At this rate, Jennson is going to find herself the keeper of all sorts of magical artefacts!

Date: 2009-04-27 11:49 pm (UTC)So yeah, trite, overdone plot device and nothing of any real substance added to the story... but yknow what? It was cute and it made me laugh a lot, so I can't hate on it too much :-D

Date: 2009-04-28 12:00 am (UTC)And that is TOTALLY what I am loving about this show. They take Tired Old Devices that have been done a billion times, and it's STILL HILARIOUS. And there were tiny, tiny pieces of plot (if you squinted and held your head to the side). :)
Zedd is never allowed to leave them AGAIN.

Honestly, I would love this episode just because I desperately needed to laugh. And it accomplished that.
