I like this new Radek. He's pretty awesome.

And the scene with Fran and Teyla. That was awesome on about eight levels because I like the idea that Elizabeth knew who Kanaan was...and that Teyla was smart enough to lie. I may have actually cheered.

Okay, I am pretty much out of good things. Did they write this episode before they realized that they had mortally insulted TH? And then just not change it? The stupid thing, is that all they really had to do was never give her physical form. Or a voice. And not really done this plot at all. It would have been much cooler had it just been a hunt through the systems and some words on the screen without actually talking. The RepLizCam was sort of stupid.

Gods above, I hate the Replicators.

Re-using Fran was about the only thing that wasn't a train wreck in this episode. That and Ronon and Woollsey's complete disbelief. And the potential for more development of Pegasus relations. I hate how they keep waving that in front of me. They are never going to pay out.

How many times are these people going to make deals with the devil? It NEVER WORKS and it's getting more and more ridiculous.

Ugh, I love Elizabeth, but I want to move the fuck on. They still suck at writing her, and can't even remember WHO SHE WAS. I can't believe I am falling so badly for Richard Woollsey, but at this stage it's like freaking gravity.

The scene about Kanaan bugged me because in "Sunday" Teyla is talking to that chick who we never saw before who ends up dying and hinting she's interested in someone who I think was implied to be on the expedition. She was freaked out because she didn't know how to act. (Those of us who wave the Teyla/Carson flag chose to interpret that and her subsequent behavior in the episode as support, but whatever).

Then in "Missing" she tells Mousie-Sue Keller there that she and Kanaan have only very recently started something. And since Atlantis was out of touch from the Athosians for a while during the events at the end of the season, the time involving Elizabeth's disappearance, that means her and Kanaan got together after that. So how Elizabeth was supposed to have gleaned that Teyla had a thing for him when she'd been taken before anything started? And if Teyla was nursing a crush on someone in the expedition? GAH!!!

I wish the writers would think about these things half as much as we do.

Valid point. They mess with Teyla a lot (Sunday, that one where we get another Rodney...), so I sort of operate out of fanon for her on the grounds that it is more consistent.

I had forgotten about all that last night in the greater "WTF" that was going on. Argh

I totally agree that Radek was ADORABLE in this ep, though. David's new haircut is working very nicely. :)

Radek was too much fun, I adore him as always. And it's nice to know I'm not alone in falling hard for Woollsey. The man just continues to work for me, and I didn't see that happening in a million years.

As for the plot, meh. I know they mortally insulted TH, and I knew she wouldn't come back, but I don't like that they did this storyline. I'd rather think of TH out there doing something, not floating around frozen in Fran's body. I agree, if they had to do this, keep it to the voice. I guess, despite the fact that it's been a while, I still feel particularly protective of Elizabeth...and I didn't like the way they wrote this. You're right, it's been too long and they've forgotten her character, or at least how to write her.

So, while I liked some things, especially Woollsey, I really wasn't too happy with how they handled things. Sigh.
