Well, damn.

I mean, I knew. I knew. And once Peter Cushing appeared on screen, I knew exactly how it was going to look. But damn.

I cried so hard. Three people stopped me between the theatre and the lobby washrooms to ask if I was okay. I came home, bought milk, tried to go on tumblr, and then just slept for three hours.

Like, I knew. And still.

(There weren't enough women, specifically WOC, though it was nice to see three pilots, and Bail's line about Leia nearly killed me. I choose to believe that General Syndulla is Hera, not Cham, though I have no idea what that means for the rest of the Ghost crew, and I fear the worst. Bail, Bail. God, it was beautiful.)

I've said for years that Star Wars is at its best when it's punching you in the stomach. I knew. And here I am.

School is still in next week. I might go every day.

I still refuse to believe Ahsoka is dead, like they had that whole thing about Jyn being the ONLY ONE who could get through to Saw but I am going to assume that Ahsoka was simply busy somewhere else.

Of course, a post Episode 4 team-up with Hera and Shara Bey would be totally awesome. Rogue One didn't even pass the Bechdel Test, right?

However, I still loved it, have seen it twice and will probably see it 1-3 more times before it goes.
