Paperbacks!

My "hot off the press" paperback copies of A THOUSAND NIGHTS finally got here! (There was a slight hiccough with the mail, but we got it sorted.)



Literally every time I told someone that the cover was being redone for the paperback, the reaction was "OH NO!!!" which I'll admit was also MY reaction at first. But they asked me for a lot of input (which basically never happens in publishing!), and Marcy Senders did a FABULOUS job. So the hardcovers of NIGHTS and SPINDLE will match, and when the trade for SPINDLE comes out next year, it'll match the one for NIGHTS.

(I really like that style choice, actually, since you're trying to grab new readers with the trades anyway.)

That's a gorgeous cover! I love the feel of a hardback in my hands and and the look of it on my shelves because the format is durable and classic. However, nothing beats the beauty of a well done paperback cover. Perhaps I should just purchase both?
