grav_ityI haven't made a cake in FOREVER, so I am extra pleased this one turned out! Also, I mostly made it to avoid my own nerves before the book launch, so it did that job well too.
My first spherical cake, so there were some construction issues (solved with one of those newish Duncan Hines 6" round cakes that come in their own pan, and icing, as per usual), but the rice krispie squares did their job and the orange icing gel was PERFECT, and the eye pieces turned out okay (though the smaller one I would do differently next time).
AND it was, of course, delicious. :)
