So, this was in the trailer and therefore not a surprise at all (well, I mean, it was a GREAT surprise, but it was a great surprise back in April), but I'm still going to cut it, because THAT'S WHY WE HAVE LJ.

Here, [spoilers] is Ahsoka.

About the only downside of these eps is that THERE WAS NO HERA. HERA, my darling, I LOVE YOU.

But it was so excellent to see Rex again! And Wolf! And...other dude (who I don't know because he was in literally the only episode of The Clone Wars I haven't seen, because it was TOO TEDIOUS TO WATCH). I loved how casually they reminded us how good the clones are at doing things, and how dedicated they are to each other.

I have this tiny flinch every time 3PO says "Thank the Maker", so to have Rex talk about how great his general was, knowing what we know (and also, with, like, THIS FREAKING SEASON), is amazing. And by amazing, I mean OH GOD MY FEELINGS.

And of course Kanan doesn't like them. And, I think this is really key, Rex says they got their chips removed, but not WHEN. I'm curious about Wolf in particular, as he was with Plo Koon a lot, and would have shot him down? Like, they never act like they defected. Which makes me wonder where in the galaxy Rex was when Anakin murdered all the younglings, because he wasn't at the Temple.

...maybe they will give us a book. :)

AND THEN THE END WITH AHSOKA WHY WAS I GIVEN EMOTIONS?

This show is so gooooooooood (except for the part where you can't buy Hera action figures).

I can't watch Revenge of the Sith without wondering where everyone else was especially Rex and Ahsoka.
