Today we meet Declan Porter, who is absolutely not based on my two favourite (fictional) SAS officers, and is TOTALLY not played by Richard Armitage.

This book was about 100% Great Big Sea. The whole soundtrack would be Great Big Sea. There was so much Great Big Sea that I had to offload them on to another book.

I toyed briefly with the idea of making him SBS instead, because it would make something else even funnier, but he had to be Air in the end.
