New Blog Post
Jan. 20th, 2012 10:48 amThird week of the month is Book Review Blog Day!
After some discussion (um, with myself...), I decided that this category of posts is going to be "legacy" books - books that I've had some time with, rather than a book I read last week. I think it will help me be more measured in my reviews (read: less flailing), and help me not spoil people through enthusiasm.
To kick the whole thing off, I've chosen "The Power of One", by Bryce Courtnay, a coming-of-age story about an English South African boy, and how he is affected by the men (and very, very few women) in his life. Admittedly, this is Not My Usual Thing, and in the review, I attempt to explain (without spoilers) why that is.
Enjoy!
