Ten years ago, it was a Wednesday. And my life changed forever.

I have SO MANY THOUGHTS, you guys. SO MANY. I may be back to say something profound later.

I thought so too (which, for the record, is also how I feel about the Matrix), but FotR blew my mind with Moria/the Balrog, The Two Towers blew my mind with Helm's Deep (and Gandalf's charge), and then THE RIDE OF THE ROHIRRIM, OMG.

So basically, even though The Two Towers was COMPLETELY OPPOSITE OF THE BOOKS, I still love them all to distraction.
