Boy, is this ever not my fault.

(True story: it came out of a Skype conversation where [livejournal.com profile] sache8 told a story about a kid she used to babysit who misheard the lyrics of the "Sailor Moon" theme song, and [livejournal.com profile] laura_josephsen kept poking her with a stuffed unicorn, and then [livejournal.com profile] emmaorgana said "Kate's already writing the story", and I was all "BUSTED!")

It's totally not a novel. I am determined. But not entirely convinced

Anyway, Evil Moonlight and unicorns with boundary issues: Wane

In the Kingdom of Ilithyria, there is not one soul afraid of the dark.

Kate, I love this. Like, really love it. It's brilliant. Are you suuuuure you don't want to turn it into a novel? (pretty please?)

Thank you! It grew on me quite a bit, I'll admit it, but if it does decide it wants to be a novel, it's going to have to wait until after I get through Owen and Weather Eye. Well, at least Owen! ;)

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I mean. O_O

Heee! This is so great, dearest! I really enjoyed reading it and ahhh, I cannot believe you took that insane conversation and made it a real, fascinating story!

Thanks! It was...an experience. It got me thinking, anyway, about what would be evil if moonlight was evil (and, for the record, if I ever feel the need to write a Teen Paranormal Romance, this will be it: I'm just using unicorns instead of vampires or werewolves).

So it's "Rejoice, rejoice for the dying of the light!"? ;-)

It is impossible to take this story seriously having been party to its inception. Seriously. ;-)

But certainly it's very inventive!

And in the novel I'm not writing, "Rejoice, rejoice for the dying of the light" is going to be the lead quote for part one....

(Silly as its origins may be, I do sort of love this.)
