Book #21: Melting Stones, by Tamora Pierce

I put off reading this book for YEARS, because it was the last book that Tamora Pierce had available. Like, long enough that she published FOUR OTHER BOOKS. MarkDoesStuff finally finished reading TP books, though, so I thought I should too.

Book #22: The Abyss Surrounds Us, by Emily Skrutskie

Straight up: I read this because Twitter promised me lesbian pirates who hunt sea monsters, which, to be fair to Twitter, it was. It was also, however, the sort of moral quandary-secret keeping-"no good guys" narrative that I always struggle with. So.

But I finished it because I can recognize good bones, and I don't regret buying it because, obviously, I want there to be more stories with lesbian pirates who hunt sea monsters. :)
