(Revenant doesn't get its own post, but it was a pretty solid episode.)
I should, perhaps, have got at least one Richard icon for the episodes where Kahlan isn't a major player...
This show continues to be awesome in every way (except that without Zed it's a lot less funny...). This episode was dramatically necessary, as has been everything else they've done, but I liked the way they chose to do it. I really enjoyed that Anna turned out not to be like Rahl thought she was whilst he was impersonating her in the dream/spell thingy. Knife fight, maybe not, but girl knows her way around a crossbow, and I think she'll do well as the puppeteer until she can take power outright.
It was also a good send off for Michael, who was pretty obviously toast as soon as he appeared on camera. And a good send off for Hartland in general. I mean, I fear for Chase's family, but at the same time I am kind of glad that we're not going back. Until the next time we find a magical way through the barrier, of course.
And so Richard moves forward. Babysteps. Which is what you do in Epic Fantasy, or you'd only write two books instead of ten. :)
One more and I am caught up!
