Sleepy, Snotty Day

The Miami Project has some sort of cold. Also, he will probably be getting the chicken pox soon and is therefore missing Easter. And he already missed Christmas.
Anyway, I spent most of the day sitting on the couch playing with him. He's all about the rolling, now, and grabbing for stuff.
I was hoping that Jericho would be up, but it is not.
Oh, and I watched "The Ark of Truth".
So about the only thing that made this feel like a movie was the soundtrack. WHICH WAS AWESOME. I love that it was old and new and huge and fun...I really enjoyed it.
Really, though, I was sort of underwhelmed. I mean, it was good but it wasn't even as good as some of their really great episodes and it was very...repetitive. There was nothing new. It was the same old same old...Replicators, whining, lack of team, little character development, strawman politician...
The first Stargate movie actually felt like a movie. This did not. In any way. It felt like a really long episode that the composer had completely gone to town on.
Also, Daniel gives up now? Really?
Hopefully the other one, the one with Jack and the Goa'uld and (hopefully) actual historical content will be better.
