Okay, I was feeling maudlin after that last post, so I broke character and watched the new Sanctuary trailer and without saying too much of what happened

OMG IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER AND ALL MY DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE AND CAN IT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE APRIL RIGHT THIS VERY NOW?????

I might have screamed at the tv earlier when it came on. A lot. Good thing the parents aren't home for another 3 days. I'll have to learn to be quiet again.

Completely unrelated: Rodney is employed again, this Friday's ep of SGU. Having ignored the return of the show, I'm now going to have to watch it again. Of course, between David Hewlett and Robert Picardo, it may actually be worth watching.

Also, I'm not sure which is worse: John is still hot when he's covered in blood or John is still hot when he's a Nazi (I assume he's in disguise).

Seriously, though, the part that make me freak out (besides confirmation of the WWII flashback, of course) was when I went through frame by frame and got a look at the dude on the table at 0.12. :)

The best part was that I watched the preview about six times before I noticed James at all (the first time, I only made it as far as "Heil Hitler", and then I had to jump up and do the DANCE OF GLEE in my office for a few minutes before I calmed down enough to watch the whole thing). So it was like WAVES OF GLEE. :)

One thing about trailers like that is that the music is so loud I can barely hear what people are saying. I don't if that happens for native speakers as well, but it annoys me.

Honestly, I didn't notice. Possibly because I was making so much noise I couldn't hear the dialogue the first couple times through. ;) I can see how that would be annoying, though.

Having learned more about WWII since I started reading fic for Sanctuary than I had any point in my life previous (well, at least the German side of it, anyway. We didn't read "All Quiet on the Western Front" in school because there's a Canadian-authored book to read instead), I was OVER THE MOON to see John. Anything aside from that is pretty much gravy at this point.
