Date A Girl Who Reads

*hugs* chica.

+++

In a bizarre twist of events, I went from being afraid of LEAVING ALL THE PROMPTS for the [livejournal.com profile] sfa_history battle (which is still open, btw, if you want to leave something), to ONLY LEAVING ONE. I'm just...drawing a blank. Fortunately, someone else left "Nikola Tesla. Falling asleep in Edison's Electric Chair", which will hopefully get written half a dozen times. And this weekend, I'll go back over the list and add to the prompts I've already filled (what? I plan ahead! And also sometimes don't read the deadlines). FUN TIMES.

(Seriously, add prompts if you can think of any. I'm all Highlander-ed out, apparently, and can't think of anything workable.)

Awww, I just cried a little. That was awesome! Kids with strange names and Aslan and Twilight-bashing.

Whoops, I have something in my eye again... ;-)

I actually saw this on Faith's Facebook page first (thanks to you, undoubtedly.) Well-put. And that Twilight line made me laugh out loud.

I don't agree with all of it, but the general theme is very on point. :)
