Glad to know I wasn't the only one who watched last week and thought "huh... this is what all the fuss is about? Really???" I'm still surprised because other friends seem so CRAZY in love with it, and I thought the same as you - a little too cliched, a little too crazy, and just too stereotypical for me to actually care about any of the characters.
That said, I'll probably watch it again this week...
