Disturbing - in a good way. Once again, liked the use of the Semitic myths. By the time Kadesh/Qetesh was incorporated into the Egyptian pantheon, as the goddess of love and beauty, they'd cleaned her up quite a bit. Your allusion to the not-nearly-as-sanitised original was very effective.
