I think I'm writing the AU where John's elemental ends up in Praxis, Helen jumps through the rift and John tries to fix everything, but eventually has to go get the children for help (who of course think he's killed Helen but have to work with him because General Villonova has gone power mad).
It'll probably done sometimes after the Helen/John essay of yours :)
Rerun!Helen is a great appellation, one I will now be using as well. I always like playing with all the different ways things can play out, so this is my most favorite cliffhanger type. I mean, think of all the things Helen could interfere in.
I was actually thinking that the only person who might think of Helen as an abnormal is Kate, because she knew her first as a enemy and would have been briefed on her as an abnormal by the Cabal.
