Book #9: The Way We Fall, by Megan Crewe
Feb. 5th, 2012 12:22 pmYesterday, I learned something important about myself: I do not freak out reading books about germs and viruses. I mean, I can't deny that the psychosomatic itch definitely made itself manifest while reading the book, but at no point was I all "OMG, THE VIRUSES WILL GET US ALL IN THE END!" Maybe I'm jaded. Maybe I'm stupid. Maybe I'm saving up all my fear for when "The Forest of Hands and Teeth" comes in at the library.
The important thing is that I really liked this book a lot.
( Let me tell you why... )
9/10 for an original take on a common fear, for a great heroine, for making me stay up until midnight, and for the bottle of hand sanitizer I got as a promotional item and am currently displaying by my pirate ship birdhouse.
