I have now completed a nearly full rewatch of Sanctuary. By which I mean I watched every episode of the first two seasons with commentaries (so long as AT, DK or MW were on), and the arc specific episodes of season three (except for Trail of Blood, Breach, For King and Country, and Vigilante because I've watched those ones a lot anyway). I had completely forgotten how many Tesla scenes there were in Animus.
ANYWAY! I have shiny thoughts. They are mostly as follows:
1. Every time Declan appears on screen, I clap my hands together and squeal "DECLAN!", because apparently I like him.
2. I've figured out that I don't like Will because the actor is prone to dropping his pants. Because yes, I can handle Jack the Ripper, but I cannot deal with a pretty guy and casual nudity. The underwear scene in "Firewall" very nearly killed me.
3. I still have no idea how Gregory Magnus's timeline works, but I am studiously trying not to think about it, because otherwise it will make me angry.
4. I love Kate nearly as much as I love Ashley. Which makes her about fifth overall, which isn't bad for a second season write in.
5. Hero I was way better than Hero II.
6. Michael Shanks, Jonathon Young and Christopher Heyerdahl all do the commentaries for their big episodes of season two. That alone was worth the price of the DVDs. ;)
7. I kind of hate Polly Walker? I don't know. I'm confused.
8. Seriously, WTF is up with Gregory's timeline? Am I going to have to watch Warriors again? Because the commentary was not an AT/DK/MW special, so I skipped it.
9. I assume I'd be upset with the Oscars if I were watching them.
10. Helen Magnus, ladies and gentlemen. HELEN FREAKING MAGNUS.
