I would just like to note that the lighting in Sanctuary, not to mention the excessively rich backdrops, makes icon making much more difficult than I'm used to. Thank goodness for Elements! I wish his pout came through better. And also that I hadn't broken science by making that icon post a few days ago and then changing all my icons...

I spent about two hours yesterday trying to cram "Well it's a good thing we have magic glass stick that we don't know how to use, otherwise I would be worried." on to an icon. It didn't work.

This is not the meta you're looking for...

I kind of want to write a character meta about Adam Worth except I don't know enough about his disorder to really do it justice and the last thing I need right now is more research.

Let me just say, then, that I think it's confusing that he gets to be the inspiration for TWO separate villains (one of whom would be James's nemesis, even), while Helen still gets nothing (though at the same time, I kind of like that she gets to inspire real people and not fictional ones...).

Also, I think it's kind of neat that Adam is Irish and Hyde is, uh, less Irish. Because on the list of things it sucked to be in the Victorian era, Irish wasn't near the top, but it was certainly on the list.

And I think it's interesting that Adam hates Helen (and wants her to die) at least as much as Hyde does. It's like Reid's "eviller" twin, and that never stops being funny.

There's a joke about Gollum in there somewhere, I'm sure of it...
