Kate: No.

Brain: Please?

Kate: No! Have to do Egypt-thing.

Brain: But Egypt-thing is boring!

Kate: Alright! Alright! One chapter.
[opens book and reads]
Oh look! Daine can still talk to animals. Hmmm...I wonder if the nasty emperer will poison her? Oh, and now she's in a dungeon. Didn't see that coming. OH MY GOD! He's not dead! HE'S NOT DEAD!

Brain: We sound so much like Pippin when we do that.

Kate: Don't change the subject! They just spent two and a half books going on about how good he is at simulacrum. It must come in useful sometime.

Brain: But we're going to read the rest of the book now, aren't we?

Kate: mumbles.

Brain: I beg your pardon?

Kate: Nothing

Brain: You like them.

Kate: Of course I like them!

Brain: No, I meant you like them!

Kate: And...

Brain: cough*twiceherage*cough

Kate: Yeah, well in three years, she'll be eighteen and he'll be thirty-three and then he'll only be fifteen years older than she is.
