You know, I'm really curious as to why they got rid of Ashley, whether it was part of the larger story line, or what. To me, it wasn't strictly necessary. I don't see Ashley's death playing out in S2 in a big way, other than John and Tesla going after the Cabal members. They had enough reason to do that anyway, though. Helen grieves, but I don't see much reference to that grief currently. We got Kate out of the deal (and I love Kate), but it would have been awesome to get Kate and Ashley. I just...don't get why we had to lose her.
