ANYWAY, it's a good day f-list. I type this at my DESK. Whilst sitting in a DESK CHAIR. With my dresser assembled in the next room. All for about $100.
This is my office from the door.
This is two steps in (around the closet), looking at the other wall. Note the OLD chair (which I never actually sat in), and the Chronicles of Narnia bookcase (which is currently empty as the books that fill it are in Ontario. It arrived here full of socks and underwear, which was beneath its dignity but the only way I could justify cramming it into the car. Hey! I got it 20 years ago this Christmas! Time flies!).
My work station! Now when my mind wanders, I'll have to stare at the book wall. THERE IS NO ESCAPE!
(And yes, this one's actually blurry on purpose. SPOILERS!)
Clearly I need posters. This one is blurry by accident.
The other thing I hope to have in this room some day is a nice stuffed chair for reading. And maybe another small bookshelf. Or something to make it more homey and less empty. Perhaps a corner shelf and a plant? We shall see what kijiji sends my way!
Definitely a lamp though. It is SO DARK in my apartment. As the blurriness of the shots indicated (yes, the flash was on).
