grav_itySince apparently I have writer's block, I decided to read a book instead of writing one.
Girl power, post WWII America, coming of age etc.
As with "if i stay", this book is about a girl who makes a choice.
Actually, she makes a bunch of choices. These include, but are not limited to, opening her eyes to her family, willing herself to grow up, taking control of her family, wielding said power for good...and a little bit for evil. But mostly for AWESOME.
This book didn't exactly burn through the pages to get to me, but I still enjoyed it a lot. The setting was so real you could almost smell it sometimes, and even though the title kind of gives away the ending, the why of what she saw and how she lied make it worth the while. I love it when girls take over the world, even if it's just a corner of it at a time.
