1. "I'm telling you, they're not so bad once you start to read them," Ryan says, waving the book in Esposito's face and sloshing beer all over the coffee table.

2. "Well I was going to bring a jell-o salad," Esposito said, "but apparently those warnings about not using pineapple are actually printed on the box for a reason."

3. Esposito's fingers curl around the shoulder of his tac vest, solid and present, and ready for anything, so Ryan takes a breath and waits for the signal to move.

4. There's something about a tie, or possibly a tie-clip, and then a poker game and quite a bit of very good scotch and, honestly, it's probably for the best if they just never mention it again.

5. Next April Fool's Day, Javier very, very carefully takes out nearly all the screws.

I will admit to #3 being my secret buddy!cop kink. I just ADORE tac vests for the hugging.
