I love how *real* your posts are. And it might be just that we have a lot of the same problems, but your lj keeps me grounded, and makes sure I remember why I went through all of it in the first place.
aww thanks. I am pretty real, very corporeal :P But seriously, I think out loud a lot on LJ. I've kept a journal since I was 11 years old, and it's always been a medium that's worked well for me. I used to write to an imaginary best friend like Anne Frank did, but once I got an LJ there were real people out there, which is often scary, but sometimes very nice. I worry that I am overly personal on my LJ and that I'll get judged for that, so I'm glad that my stream of consciousness processing-in-an-online-forum is working for someone.
Also, archaeology is so difficult for me right now, because it's just giving me nothing and the more I think about the future the less it makes sense to me. I feel really out of touch with archaeology and it's nice to have a fellow archaeologist to talk to on here. So, again, thanks :)
