I love how *real* your posts are. And it might be just that we have a lot of the same problems, but your lj keeps me grounded, and makes sure I remember why I went through all of it in the first place.
aww thanks. I am pretty real, very corporeal :P But seriously, I think out loud a lot on LJ. I've kept a journal since I was 11 years old, and it's always been a medium that's worked well for me. I used to write to an imaginary best friend like Anne Frank did, but once I got an LJ there were real people out there, which is often scary, but sometimes very nice. I worry that I am overly personal on my LJ and that I'll get judged for that, so I'm glad that my stream of consciousness processing-in-an-online-forum is working for someone.
Also, archaeology is so difficult for me right now, because it's just giving me nothing and the more I think about the future the less it makes sense to me. I feel really out of touch with archaeology and it's nice to have a fellow archaeologist to talk to on here. So, again, thanks :)
You listen, you talk, you enable, you encourage, you think I'm funny, and one time you identified an episode of Alias based on my truly vague description.
I'm not going to do the meme in my LJ cos I don't know when I'll get internet in teh next week, but I like your sense of humour. I really like that you make me laugh. You find something to laugh about no matter what (even if it's snark hehe). Also you were one of the main reasons I got into Daniel/Janet and stayed, which means a lot. Seems to me like you don't give up, you keep trying, and that's really admirable.
