This Post Has Almost Nothing To Do With Glee

So last week we got the second episode/premiere of Glee (as opposed to the pre-air version of the preview, the preview of the pilot or the reair of the pilot). And, while entertaining, it left us wanting more (in the bad way), for the most part.

I have decided that the characters were too stereotypical to truly enjoy, yet not stereotypical enough to be satirical.

And there were several things that made me very uncomfortable. One of which was the part where we're (I think) supposed to cheer for the adultery. Which is NEVER A GOOD THING.

Except that one time. When it sort of was. (There are arguments I could give you, but I am sure you don't want to hear them.)

It is for this occasion, for the first year in a while when there will not be "Without A Trace", and most especially for eolivet that I present the following:

I completely unrelated news, I rewatched "Rising" tonight, and may have teared up a little as the City came out of the water.

Now I am watching the part where John tries to tell the Athosian kids horror stories and he can't scare them because they are already too scared of the Wraith. :)

Hockey masks are just so not scary after the Wraith. And I still think the cutest moment is "I want to play John Sheppard" when the kids are 'playing.'

So many things about the episode are just GENIUS. And I love how many "lanterns" there are in the dialogue, like "Man, the days are short here!" and "Apparently it's also an elevator." HEE!
