The Desolation of...I'll Come Up With A Witticism Later*

So here's my request. I'm trying to remain KIND OF spoiler free? In that I don't want to know when the movie ends, or how Barrels Out Of Bond goes down, or what Dol Guldur parts get added. And I really, really don't want any Tauriel bashing.

But you know what that leaves?

LOTS OF PICTURES OF LEGOLAS AND THRANDUIL, THAT'S WHAT.

Also, from the ten seconds of Tauriel footage I've seen, I ADORE HER and I will never be cutting my hair again, because I need to dress up as her because OMG SHE HAS RED HAIR AND MY LIFE IS PERFECT.

No seriously. CAN I JUST BE HER?

Okay, that didn't really have spoilers, but it did have a lot of FLAILING, so I'm sticking with the cut.

*[livejournal.com profile] emmaorgana and I have been calling the first one "An Unexpected Journey Into Dwarf Feelings", so clearly we have to come up with something good for the second one. I think "There And Back Again" will just be "Electric Boogaloo", though.

I didn't actually see the sneak peek, just the Tauriel clip and some stills. I'm kind of avoiding as much as possible, because Carefully, Carefully With The Plates made me SO HAPPY and it was SUCH A SURPRISE, but at the same time I don't want to give up tumblr entirely. :)

understood. Fortunately, my favorite part of the entire sneak peek was hearing the questions people asked. As to spoilers, I didn't really see much that I
would call spoilers except the part you mentioned since it is unknown territory for not being in the book. The questions were either meant to be funny like the (most likely scripted ones from some of the actors) or they were innocent things like, "What s your favorite LOTR weapon?"I watched the entire thing and don't feel at all spoiled so that was good. The few shots from the film were mostly in front of green screen so they didn't look right. There was only one real clip and it was fairly short. : )
If you get spoilers, it will most likely be from Tumblr. They seem to get all the info first these days.

The sneak peek was a lot like an extended v-log really. I mean, we did see some things but they were in the same state than what we saw in the v-logs last year, except for a very brief Gandalf scene.
